The National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) released the new Genetic/Familial High-Risk Assessment Colorectal, Endometrial, and Gastric Cancer guidelines on August 8th, 2024. An important update includes the revision of CHEK2 estimated absolute colon cancer risk to “NO INCREASED RISK”; thus, general population screening is appropriate for these individuals.
