NCCN BOP Guideline Update #3: Genetic Testing in Breast Cancer Patients Age 65 and Below

The National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) released updated Genetic/Familial High-Risk Assessment: Breast, Ovarian, and Pancreatic Cancer guidelines on September 11th, 2024. In these updated guidelines, NCCN indicates testing criteria for high-penetrance breast cancer susceptibility genes should be considered for those with a personal history of breast cancer ≤ age 65 (used to be < age 60) as outlined in CRIT-3 (Page 26).
