On September 7th, 2022, the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) released new breast, ovarian, and pancreatic cancer guidelines. In these new guidelines, genetic testing eligibility based on age at breast cancer diagnosis in females was updated from ≤ 45 to ≤ 50 making more females with breast cancer eligible for testing regardless of family history or type of breast cancer.
