

The National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) released updated Genetic/Familial High-Risk Assessment: Breast, Ovarian, and Pancreatic Cancer guidelines on September 11th, 2024.
In these updates, NCCN outlines emerging data regarding breast cancer risks for bi-allelic CHEK2 mutations (i.e., mutations in both copies of the gene) as outlined in GENE-A (Page 38) ⤸
- Risks may be higher
- Occur at an earlier age
- Higher risk of bilateral disease
