A new study among female BRCA1 and BRCA2 (BRCA1/2) carriers after breast cancer found that they had a 16-fold higher risk of anaplastic large-cell lymphoma associated with breast implants. This occurred in BRCA1/2 carriers who received textured breast implants as part of breast reconstruction.
