The National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) just released updated colorectal cancer guidelines which includes:
- at a minimum the following colorectal cancer genes should be included on multi-gene panel testing: APC, MUTYH, MLH1, MSH2, MSH6, PMS2, EPCAM, BMPR1A, SMAD4, PTEN, STK11, & TP53
- NTHL1 tumor syndrome recommendation revisions, including modification of breast cancer risks and recommendation of baseline upper endoscopy beginning at age 30-35
- addition of MBD4-associated neoplasia syndrome
