 Updates to NCCN Guidelines: Genetic/Familial High-Risk Assessment: Breast, Ovarian, and Pancreatic

 

The National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) just released updated Genetic/Familial Breast, Ovarian, and Pancreatic Cancer guidelines on August 28th, 2023, which included:

  • a new care section for transgender, non-binary, and gender diverse individuals
  • significant updates to Li-Fraumeni Syndrome risks and care
  • addition of consideration of prostate cancer screening at age 40 for male CHEK2 and ATM carriers
