The National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) released updated Genetic/Familial High-Risk Assessment: Breast, Ovarian, and Pancreatic Cancer guidelines on September 11th, 2024.
Some updates include revisions to ovarian cancer risks and management including ⤸
- Revisions to testing criteria for ovarian cancer susceptibility genes as outlined in CRIT-4 (Page 27).
- If serous tubal intraepithelial carcinoma (STIC lesion) is found, further consultation with a gynecologic oncologist is recommended as outlined in BRCA-A 2 of 5 (Page 48).
