The National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) released updated Genetic/Familial High-Risk Assessment: Breast, Ovarian, and Pancreatic Cancer guidelines on September 11th, 2024.
Some updates include ⤸

- Consider testing for high-penetrance breast cancer susceptibility genes ≤ age 65 (used to be < age 60)
- Colorectal cancer risk added for ATM and removed for CHEK2
- Consider pancreatic cancer screening for ATM and BRCA2 carriers beginning at age 50 (or 10 years younger than the earliest exocrine pancreatic cancer diagnosis in the family, whichever is earlier)
